Returns, Repairs & Replacements
We usually do not accept any returns. All Products are guaranteed to work on arrival, as they are quality checked and tested before delivery. If in any case a part of your product is not working on arrival or during the warranty period, it will be assessed and repaired under warranty. The buyer must return the goods to be assessed and repaired, unless otherwise agreed. Once reported, customers must comply with directions from staff in relation to troubleshooting the reported issues to enable resolution.
Refund Policy
We do not accept Refunds, except in special circumstances. Please choose carefully. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. If your item is faulty, your issue will be assessed and solved under warranty.
Release and Waiver of Public Liability and Injury
Riding an electric bicycle or scooter can be dangerous, and cause injury and death, to you the customer and to others in the public. By buying any electric bicycle from us, you the customer take responsibility of your own safety, and the saftey of the public. You agree to follow your local governments road rules and laws. You agree not to ride an electric bike and scooter where it is not allowed. If you have purchased the Offroad (500W) model, you agree that this is not a road legal bicycle, and must not be used on roads. You the customer agree that you have read and understand all the risks and agree to waive and release E-Zoom electric cycling from any responsibility and liability to you the customer and the public.
How The Warranty Does Not Apply
When the bicycle is used negligently or results in damage due to traffic accident, your bicycle is not covered under warranty. When your battery starts to lose capacity and runs for less distance, this is not covered under warranty. Top Speed is not covered under warranty, if your bicycle does not reach estimated top speeds, this is not covered under warranty. Distance travelled per charge is not covered under warranty, if your bicycle does not reach the factory estimated distance advertised, (this is only an estimate) and can vary greatly depending on how you use the bike, this is not covered under warranty. Batteries do lose capacity over time, capacity loss will not be covered under warranty. If the battery pack is used incorrectly or tampered with, this will void your warranty. If you have not charged your battery regularly, if you have left your battery sitting unused for over a month, this is will void your warranty. If you have damaged your charger or battery by incorrect use, this will not be covered under warranty. We do not guarantee your bike will be able to power up all hills, and the degree and duration of incline will not be covered under warranty. Damage ascribed to normal wear and tear and maintenance. Wear and tear and maintenance parts that are not covered under warranty include: Tyres, Tubes, Brakes, Brake Pads, Wheel Spokes, Derailleur Tuning, Gear Adjustments, Bottom Bracket Tightening, Handlebar adjustments, chain, and general tightening all nuts. Poor maintenance will void your warranty. Rust and corrosion is a result of poor maintenance, and will not be covered. Modifications to the bicycle and components will void your warranty (except minor additions such as lights and plastic mud guards). Damage due to external causes, or act of nature will not be covered. Any minor scratches, marks or imperfections will not be covered. Compensation for any type of loss and any costs incurred will not be covered.
